Intelligent Agent #1: what she sees, what she hears:
My next installation/project is taking form….Video, sound, images, and objects depict what “Intelligent Agent #1” (a cyborg character or alter ego) sees, hears, and says…in an investigation of her identity through perception of space and sound.  In other words, the project explores a bit-crusher coming to terms with who she is.

I don’t usually put my teaching-related stuff on my website, but this was too cool and fun a project to pass up….a terrific student–Megan–and I worked with the Robotics, Health and Communication Lab at the University of Notre Dame on a collaborative Sculpture/Computer Science Human_Robot_Interaction project. “PhotoBot” followed you around the space, took pics, and printed them for you; “ProjectorBot” projected streaming video of the space using a variety of XBox Kinect sensors. Check out images below, and stay tuned for a bigger and better project with my Spring 2012 sculpture class (Art 318: Beyond Object).
